When to Visit:
The best time of the year to visit Dubai is between November and
April, when the weather is coolest. Ramadan, which takes place at
a different time each year on the western calendar, is the Muslim
month of fasting and is strictly adhered to throughout the UAE.
That means that it's illegal, not to mention rude, to eat, drink
or smoke in public from sunrise to sunset during your stay.
Although the beaches are frequented throughout the year, the best
beach weather in during early spring and late fall, when the water
temperatures are comfortable.
Walking outdoors becomes difficult in the summer months as both
temperature and humidity is high. It is strongly recommended that
during the summer months, when temperatures sour above 95F (35C)
and the humidity reaches above 90%, not to venture outdoors for
long periods of time. Luckily, many indoor activities in Dubai can
keep everyone entertained until the sun sets and the temperature
drops.
